Your dashboard is the home base for the backend of your website. On it, you’ll find all of the tools and resources you need to edit your website.


When you 1st login to your website, this page will automatically pull up, but if you’re editing a page or other area of your website and need to return to the dashboard, simply click the Dashboard button from the left-hand menu.

Now that you know about the dashboard, let’s talk about your...


Navigation Toolbar

  • "Site Setup" is where you’ll go to update the global settings that affect all pages on your website. This includes branding, your navigation bar style, font and color choices, and navigation tab text, footer settings and more.
  • "Pages" show a list of all pages, both published and in draft mode. The "all pages" view allows you to make quick edits to pages whereas the "tree view" is a shorthand list.
  • "Blog Posts" is where you can edit posts, add new ones and update your blog categories and tags.
  • "Forms" allow you to create and edit, well, forms. If you want to collect names and emails for your freemium or even a robust form for someone to fill out a testimonial or take a survey. This is the place to do that.
  • "Widget Blocks" are blocks of content you create that can live across different sidebars and footers. If you want to display an intro and photo about you on your blog, you’ll first update or add a new block here and then go to site setup → sidebar and footer to add the block to the appropriate spot.
  • "PopUp" allows you to create or edit content that pops up on your site.
  • The "Products" section allows you to add pages that can display all products on one page.
  • "Ninja Recipes" allows you to create beautiful recipe pages, if you choose.
  • "Media" is where you’ll find all of your photos, pdfs, videos and more.
  • "Comments" allow you to see which visitors left comments on your content throughout your website.
  • "SEO" is your Yoast plugin, which guides you through best search engine optimization practices. You can edit your settings, upgrade to premium and more on this tab.
  • "Settings" allows you to edit general settings like your date and time formats, your website page name, page permalinks, google analytics and more.
  • The "Tools" tab allows you to redirect old page links to new page links, import or export content to and from you site, and more.
  • The "Plugins" tab displays the various plugins available for your site.
  • "Users" allows you to edit your user information, including the admin color scheme, your display name, contact info, passwords, admin email notifications, and more.
  • "Google Analytics" gives you the ability to track critical data to help you become a better marketer.
